Victor is a geologist and has experience working in mining operations with geometallurgy and process mineralogy applied to the mineral production cycle, from exploration to mineral processing having worked for CMOC and Mosaic in Brazil. During this time, he has honed his analytical skills such as automated mineralogy, XRD and optical microscopy that were key to gaining his master’s degree in mineralogy from the University of Brasilia.

While working in industry, Victor was not only responsible for lab operations required to produce mineralogical and process metallurgical data, but also for reporting this information such that it could be used to optimise concentration plants and mining operations helping to bring about efficiency improvements.
